The public consultation on Deerswood Meadow remains open until the 30th of September 2022.
Deerswood Meadow was saved from developers following a massive campaign by local Liberal Democrats, which led to CALA Homes withdrawning their planning application to build eighty dwellings in this flood plain site.
Lib Dems want to give Deerswood permanent and unchallengeable legal protection, creating and preserving a biodiversity filled wild park.
