Fighting pollution

This summer, we have been meeting as many residents as we can to discuss the vital issue of pollution in the air that we and our children breath.
The Boyn Hill Lib Dems are supporting a petition seeking to improve how the Council monitors local air pollution.

A recent motion to the council from the Lib Dems attempted to force the Conservatives to properly monitor air quality by measuring the particulate pollution in the air within the Borough.

Currently the Borough only measures PM10 particles at one location, whilst the council doesn’t measure PM2.5 particles at all. To the shock of many residents, the Conservatives at the council rejected the proposal.

If we don’t measure where air pollution is, how can we fix it?
