Saving St Marks

Following a recent Lib Dem campaign, the Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have now issued a statement that there are no current plans to close the UCC.

However, they have not committed to reopening it, and have confirmed that there will be consultations on the future provision of all the services delivered at St Marks.

Lib Dems also continue to be concerned that the CCG have not commented on the proposed sell off part of St Marks Hospital site which was included in the Council’s Borough Local Plan.

Josh Reynolds said, “We will be keeping a close eye on developments to ensure Maidenhead residents don’t lose this service that we all appreciate so much, or see it downgraded.

“We will also keep you informed of any updates and particularly when the CCGs consultation begins so you can continue to make your voice heard.”

Also to keep up the pressure on the CCG, we want to do a quick survey on how you have used the UCC and the wider facilities at St Marks – please click here to fill it in. Of course we will anonymize all data before showing it.
