Simon Werner

Simon was brought up in Maidenhead and currently works for Guide Dogs for the Blind. As a councillor, Simon has gained a reputation for getting things done. As lead on crime and grime issues, Simon started the Community Warden Scheme, set up the graffiti removing team and focused the council on improving our streets. With a young daughter and an elderly father, he understands the importance of local facilities – from parks and schools to buses and day centres.

Clive Baskerville campaigning for the many pot holes to be filled

Clive, a former local sportsman and sports journalist has been a Borough Councillor before and quickly gained a reputation for being a champion for local residents. He was brought up in Pinkneys Green, first in Blenheim Road, then in Birdwood Road and went to Alwyn, Courthouse and then Furze Platt Senior School. He is currently a Governor at Alwyn School and is determined to make sure that Maidenhead schools continue to be among the best in the country.
